Abstract

In the last three decades, fuzzy logic has become one of the most important research tools in the application field of computer science and other areas. Fuzzy logic provides a way to arrive at a definite conclusion based upon vague, ambiguous, imprecise, or missing input information. Fuzzy logic has proven capable of modelling highly nonlinear and multidimensional processes. Energy efficiency is the foremost criteria in the field of wireless sensor networks. This paper deals with the application of fuzzy logic in wireless sensor networks for an energy-efficient protocol.
